We are Willem and Margaretha Gravett, a husband-and-wife team of attorneys who help people make the best out of the worst time of their lives. We are the founding partners of Gravett & Gravett, a boutique law firm focusing on matrimonial and family law.

Gravett & Gravett assists clients with the multitude of issues arising from a divorce or separation, including custody and visitation of children, child support, spousal maintenance (alimony), equitable distribution of marital assets and debt, and the enforcement or modification of agreements and court orders. We also negotiate and draft pre-nuptial, post-nuptial, and separation agreements. As an additional service to our matrimonial and family law clients, we offer estate planning and elder law services, as well as assistance with residential real estate transactions.

At Gravett & Gravett, we employ a versatile team approach that encompasses mediation, negotiation, as well as aggressive representation at trial. Willem is an experienced trial attorney, also known as the “war department” of the firm. Margaretha is a qualified divorce mediator and represents the firm’s “peace department.”
